Suspect for Student’s Death in Police Custody on Four-Day Physical Remand

Lahore (7th Sept, 2019): Hearing for case related to death of American Lycetuff student takes place in District Court in Lahore.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, both the accused Kamran and Shahid Mahmood were presented before the court. The court has placed the two accused under police custody on four-day physical remand. The succeeding hearing has been scheduled to take place on the 11th of September.

It is to be noted that the teacher of American Lycetuff School’s Gulshan Ravi Branch killed a 10th grade student for not remembering his lesson. According to police, the teacher had tortured the tenth grade student for not remembering the lesson. Reportedly, the student was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

According to sources, Education Minister Dr. Murad Ross took notice of the tragic death of the student in a private school and has directed the CEO Education to take action against those responsible for the incident.

Moreover, Dr. Murad Ross has stated that the death the student is an extremely traumatic and tragic one. He further confirmed that the Police timely arrived at the scene to arrest Kamran for torturing his student to death.
