Terrorism in Turbat, 6 people including Major Nadeem martyred
Rawalpindi, 8th May: In a major terrorist attack in the Turbat area of Balochistan, six youths, including Major Nadeem, have been martyred according to reports. Terrorists targeted Pak Army soldiers with IEDs.
According to ISPR, the incident took place on Friday in Turbat, near the coastal city of Gwadar in Balochistan.
According to reports, the terrorists carried out the operation in the area of Mount Murad. As a result, 6 soldiers including Major Nadeem Abbas Bhatti were martyred.
According to DG ISPR, the youths were returning after patrolling in Ketch with a convoy of FC when they were hit by a remote-controlled IED.
According to ISPR sources, Major Nadeem Bhatti, resident of Hafizabad, Naik Jamshed, resident of Mianwali, Lance Naik, Timur, resident of Taunsa Sharif, Lance Naik, Khidr Hayat, resident of Attock, soldier Sajid, resident of Mardan and soldier Nadeem, resident of Taunsa Sharif were martyred. A young man was also injured.
According to reports from Hafizabad, Major Nadeem Abbas Bhatti belongs to a prominent political family in Hafizabad district of Punjab. He was the brother of former District Nazim Mubasher Abbas Bhatti, cousin of PTI MNA Chaudhry Shaukat Ali Bhatti and nephew of former MNA Chaudhry Mehdi Hussain Bhatti.
Martyr Major Nadeem Abbas Bhatti has left behind a widow, two sons, and a daughter. Martyr Major Nadeem Bhatti was born on November 2, 1984. He was commissioned in the Pakistan Army on April 14, 2007, and was posted in the 126th Wing Makran. His funeral prayers will be offered on Saturday at 9:30 am at Burj Dara.
