Terrorist elements in India pose threat to neighboring countries: UN

ISLAMABAD: According to reports, the United Nations has issued a report saying that Pakistan carries out terrorism from Afghanistan while the terrorist elements present in India pose a threat to neighboring countries.
The UN report further said that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar were involved in terrorism in Pakistan. The leadership of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) stays in Afghanistan and carries out terrorist activities in Pakistan.
The report further states that Noor Wali Mehsud, Qari Amjad and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Muhammad Khorasani have claimed responsibility for several terrorist incidents in Pakistan. ISIL’s presence in Afghanistan could pose a threat to the region.
The report also expressed concern over the presence of terrorist elements in India, saying that the presence of terrorist elements in India posed a threat to neighboring countries.
According to diplomatic sources, global pressure is mounting on India to take action against terrorist elements.
