Baaghi TV: The accountability court has indicted former principal secretary Fawad Hassan Fawad in a case of disproportionate assets.
Accountability court in Lahore heard the case of assets in excess of income. The court also indicted the family of Fawad Hassan Fawad, former principal secretary to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. The accused include Fawad Hassan Fawad, Rabab Hassan, Waqar Hassan and Anjum Hassan.
The court summoned witnesses to record statements against the accused at the next hearing. The court indicted the accused for withdrawing their pleas.
Earlier this year, the Lahore High Court had granted bail to Fawad Hassan Fawad on the ground that no illegal property had been found.
A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court headed by Justice Tariq Abbasi and Justice Chaudhry Mushtaq had issued a four-page written verdict on the bail of Fawad Hassan Fawad.
