DHAKA: Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abdul Momin has said that comments in the Indian media are a sign of a sick mentality.

According to the details, relations with Pakistan are improving due to Bangladesh’s “no enemy” diplomacy and on the comments made in India on this proximity, the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh Abdul Momin has said that the comments of Indian media are sick mentality. No one has the right to dictate to us.

Recent contacts between Pakistani and Bangladeshi leaders have raised hopes of easing tensions between the two countries.

According to observers, with the fall of East Pakistan and Bangladesh after the bloodshed in December 1971, relations between the two countries have gone through critical stages with ups and downs.

In recent times, several leaders of the Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh have been hanged for their loyalty to Pakistan by setting up so-called controversial tribunals. But in recent times, Bangladesh has adopted a policy of “friendship with all, enmity with no one” with Islamabad.

Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momin said that relations with other countries, including Pakistan, would be improved in the wider interest of the country. It should be noted that India has become very confused with the improvement in the relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The Modi government of India is deeply disturbed by all this. Meanwhile, the opposition in India is calling the improvement in diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh a major defeat on the Modi government and India’s diplomatic front.

It is being said that Pakistan’s friendly country has an important role to play in easing diplomatic tensions between Islamabad and Dhaka. It is gratifying that Prime Minister Imran Khan contacted the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina Wajid and expressed his condolences over the recent floods as well as the loss of life and property due to the Corona epidemic.

Prime Minister Imran Khan reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening relations with Bangladesh on the basis of mutual trust, respect and equality. The two leaders also pledged to make SAARC active.
