February 18, 2021: According to the report of Baaghi TV, Sajid Sadpara, son of Pakistani mountaineer Ali Sadpara, who went missing on K2, confirmed his father’s death.
The Minister for Tourism GB said that the missing climbers are no longer in this world. The government, Pakistan Army, family members have reached this conclusion, Muhammad Ali Sadpara and his son will be awarded civil honors.
Minister for Tourism GB further said that it has been proposed to name the federation after Skardu Airport Ali Sadpara.
Pakistani mountaineer Muhammad Ali Sadpara was engaged in a winter K2 head adventure and was accompanied by foreign climbers, including his son Sajid Sadpara. On February 5, Sajid Sadpara returned to the base camp due to a problem in the oxygen cylinder, but his father, Mohammad Ali Sadpara, did not return from the base camp. The operation was carried out but the climbers could not be traced.
Gilgit-Baltistan Tourism Minister Raja Nasir Khan and Ali Sadpara’s son Sajid Sadpara held a press conference in which Sajid Sadpara confirmed the death of his father, climber Muhammad Ali Sadpara. Sajid Sadpara said that he would continue his father’s mission and fulfill his dream.
He said that he was also grateful to Prime Minister Imran Khan, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and brave pilots of military aviation for the rescue operation.
It should be noted that Pakistan’s hero Muhammad Ali Sadpara had the honor of climbing 8 of the 14 highest peaks in the world.
