Karachi, 7th May: The US Dollar has risen 25 paise against the rupee during the fourth trading day of the week across the country. The dollar started trading at Rs 160.30 on the interbank market today.

According to the details, Pakistan has been witnessing fluctuations in the US currency in the last few days. After the increase in cases of coronavirus across the country, the US dollar had reached a level of more than Rs 165 at one point.

The last few days have seen an increase in the value of the US dollar in the country, the US dollar has once again exceeded 160 rupees.

It should be noted that the US dollar had depreciated against the rupee during the last trading day of last week.

In April 2019, the dollar took a big leap and came to Rs 141.50. There was a historic rise in its price to Rs 151 during May.

In June, the dollar broke all records and reached an all-time high of Rs 164. In July 2019, the dollar rate became Rs 160 in the interbank market and Rs 161 in the open market.

At the end of October 2019, the rupee appreciated further and the dollar depreciated to Rs 155.70. At the end of November 2019, the buying price of the dollar was 155.25 and the selling price was 155.65. The dollar has been depreciating steadily for the past six months, falling by Rs 9.
