The female village YouTuber ‘Mukhtiar Baji’ being threatened

Lahore, 25th August: A Pakistani female village YouTuber has been threatened by her community on creating content for YouTube.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, Mukhtiar Baji, known as the ‘Daily Routine Wali Baji’ on YouTube, is a female village YouTuber who is now being threatened by her community.
Mukhtiar is a resident of JallaArain, a small town near Lodhran, and shares her daily village life on her relatively new channel, the #DailyRoutineWaliBaji.

She makes videos of her daily village life and started uploading videos of the food she makes for her family on her mud stove which is powered by dry sticks and twigs.
Her content went viral on social media when she uploaded a video of her entire house which is a simple house made of bricks and mud.
From then on her content became regular and her subscriber count came to almost 200,000.
Mukhtiar Bibi made a Question and Answer video where she revealed she was earning comfortably from her YouTube channel. She revealed in the video she is able to earn about 60 to 70 thousand rupees a month, and perhaps, that is why things suddenly got very dark.

After the sizable income she makes via her YouTube channel, her fellow villagers are demanding she either give them her earnings or the channel itself.
Mukhtiar baji, as she is famously known as, revealed that she had always considered her villagers as her own, but now they are threatening her and asking her to give them her channel or the earnings from it.

She also told in one of her videos that the village people have also threatened to have her son kidnapped and killed, or to involve them in a legal case that they would never be able to get out of.
Mukhtiar baji has appealed for help from her viewers as the rising tensions are taking a toll on her health. She lives alone with her children in the village and her husband works far away.
She said that they are simple and poor people who do not know the legal frameworks and have never had issues like this.
She also conveyed a message to the people who are trying to threaten her that she will not back down from her work and would stand up for herself.
