The Galwan Valley was, is and will remain part of China: Chinese FM
BEIJING, June 20th: A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a message to India that India should remember that the Galwan Valley is part of China, it has been and always will be.
In a tweet, he said the area had been under Chinese occupation and that Chinese forces regularly patrolled it, but India cunningly tried to seize it, which was thwarted.
It may be recalled that the Galwan Valley is the border area of India and China in Ladakh. Border tensions between India and China in the region have resurfaced in recent days, the largest since the 1999 war in Kargil with India’s traditional rival Pakistan.
