The KP government has decided to buy Dilip Kumar house in Peshawar
The Department of Archeology and Museums of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to buy the historic house. Deputy Commissioner Peshawar enforced Section IV at the request of the Director Archeology and Museum Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In the first phase, the KP government to purchased the house, for which the government is providing funds.
Dilip Kumar’s house will be restored to its original condition, the house of Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor is a historical heritage.
The house will be repaired and restored to its original condition in the second phase. Finally, the house will be converted into a museum under the Peshawar Revival Plan.
Peshawar Revival Plan is a plan in which the historical places of Peshawar are being restored to their original condition and full protection of the historical heritage is being ensured. Section IV is also implemented on the sale and purchase of houses in the Qissa Khawani Bazaar.
