There is a need for the Muslim world to understand the teachings of Islam and the elimination of the present, prevailing myths, in our Muslim world. When you go to a Muslim clergy person like Maulana or Mufti in Pakistan or an Imam, as in the U.S, mostly from the middle east, generally, they say Allah may forgive our sins but may not make us believe in the true sense of the teaching of Islam in actions.
