The Lion Roars

How people rise, fall and then get back on their two feet again is incredible, certainly not all have it in them to brave challenges and to surmount problems when dealing with any such ordeal.
The Trump Family is known both for politics as well as business. Trump’s father was a builder, Fred, who had built 2,000 apartments for the poor people in relatively poor areas of New York. As opposed to him, Trump’s ego was big… he built majestic towers and iconic gambling casinos. Went to Manhattan where he built towers, bought commodore hotel and refurbished it, bought Tiffany’s building which was the place in Manhattan.

He had a stake in the Empire State building too. Then came gambling casinos. One after the other he went on building those. I have visited one in Atlantic City myself. But above all he had a family to look after. Ivana, his first love, whom he made in charge of the Taj Mahal did not see eye to eye with the administrative head, Steven Hyde. Their marriage went on the rocks during the course of time. He had a good taste for pretty women and had a great propensity to be a philanderer who could never escape the notoriety of being a playboy.
Trump became a big name. He was spending time with Marla Maples now, even though that proved to be a nine week’s wonder. No matter how big he became, his father Fred was more compassionate, sagacious and not a reckless man, but Donald’s hunger for wealth knew no bounds. He made a meteoric rise. He had his name on the covers of almost all the magazines. He was on a buying spree. He just bought what he saw. A manic buyer so to speak. He went on buying all he could and became a household name.
His towers were for the rich and the who’s who types but all good things don’t remain the same. When in crunch, his father bailed him out. He bulldozed almost everyone who came his way. He came out triumphantly, when he was in confrontation with Ed Koch the mayor of New York whom he thought was lacking administratively. His vitriolic diatribe often cut him to the quick. He came head on. For far too long the New Yorkers had not seen anything for their recreational activities. He took it upon himself to embrace this challenge. Single handedly he managed it with one of the most famous engineers that he had working under him.

He built a rink in New York which had been wasted for years because of neglect and lack of proper care. He was thought to be gaining 150 million dollars in tax abatement initially. Trump was a name. He staged boxing bouts which shot his popularity out the roof touching unparalleled heights. He drowned in debt. Managed adroitly to bounce back. And there he was back on the road to recovery. Loyalty to your better half is inherently seen as a sign of steadfastness which in turn can turn into a significant half.
You don’t ditch your partners, especially spouses who are there to see you rise from the ashes and stand behind you in thick and thin. Money, power, and family life should compliment the well being, the togetherness and overall the wellness of your family… That’s how the legacy carries on. When you fall, take it gracefully without pointing a finger at your partner.
While you live, be still like a mountain and flow like a river. Nothing remains forever! The only thing constant is change. So do your best. Don’t look down upon people. It only belittles your aura. Act big always. Don’t quarrel over trivialities.
The moment will pass but leave a bad taste forever.
A thought which I wanted to share with the young ones. Many of whose marriages are on the anvil. So good luck to the young and the old at the same time. Mary Anne MacLeod Trump had been a very considerate woman, who did her best to save Donald’s first marriage with Ivana.

He did say in one of his interviews that he wanted to become the president. How he came later in the political arena is not a hidden secret. But despite his idiosyncrasies he rose to the top. One thing is for sure, he never could endear with the establishment. He knew he had to come hard with his immigration laws, tariffs, and controlled business activity. But all said and done they have their combative policies wherein they go beyond their borders to create their own world order around the globe. Critics say they must learn from their past and invest in non military tools. Because bombing a country first and then rebuilding it makes no sense.
Anyways, his first tenure was turbulent and led to Joe Biden who came as the president. Amidst a litany of cases Donald took the bull by the horn and weathered a storm. Had countless charges. He went on. He never had drooping spirits. The vicissitudes of life and the ups and downs only bolster his resolve to strike back with more power across America.
Donald’s success was an unprecedented one. He tired like a lion across America.
He roared like a lion across the United States of America.
During his trial and tribulation, he emphasized, he was no longer a man of war but peace, instead. The ceasefire between Hamas and Israel is a corollary towards that.
