Amnesty International, the global human-rights organization, has termed the India’s decision to revoke the Article-370 a bad omen for the already volatile situation in the IOK.
According to reports of Baaghitv, the global London-based human-rights organization, Amnesty International has termed the decision to revoke Article-370 which has given special powers to the Jammu and Kashmir, the worst decision which will exacerbate the already volatile situation in the valley. The scenic Kashmir valley, where the human rights are badly violated by the Indian security forces will further worsen after the revoke of Article-370. Amnesty International has termed the situation, bleak in the valley.
The unilateral decision by Government of India to revoke Jammu & Kashmir's special status without consulting J&K stakeholders, amidst a clampdown on civil liberties & communications blackout is likely to increase the risk of further human rights violations & inflame tensions.
