February 18, 2021: Federal Minister for Counter Narcotics Brigadier (retd) Ejaz Ahmad Shah has said that timely and effective measures will be taken to eradicate drug trafficking on the Makran Coastal Line. We will continue our efforts.

Addressing the Maritime Coordination Conference for Drug Eradication here on Thursday, the Federal Minister for Counter Narcotics said that the role of all law enforcement agencies in drug prevention was commendable. He said that complete control of drug trafficking by sea would be a great achievement.

He said that together with the Anti-Narcotics Force, the Maritime Security Agency, Pakistan Coast Guard and Pakistan Customs could eradicate drug trafficking, for which it was important for all agencies to work together.

Ejaz Ahmad Shah said that timely and effective measures would be taken to eradicate drug trafficking on the Makran Coastal Line while counter-narcotics operations would be intensified in the coastal areas.

He said the help of intelligence agencies would help in timely action. Federal Minister says stern action against drug dealers will not be delayed, criminals will face severe punishment.
