CM Sindh calls for inquiry report on Pakistan Stock Exchange Attack
KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has demanded an inquiry report on the attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange.
According to the Chief Minister’s House, Murad Ali Shah strongly condemned the incident and said that it was tantamount to an attack on national security and economy.
Appreciating the timely action taken by the police and Rangers, Murad Ali Shah said that in view of the epidemic situation, anti-state elements wanted to take undue advantage and all law enforcement agencies should remain vigilant.
The Sindh Chief Minister directed that a full detailed inquiry be made into the incident and a report be submitted.
It is to be noted that today (Monday) around 10 am, 4 terrorists first attacked the gate of the stock exchange with a grenade and then opened fire indiscriminately, as a result of which 6 people including a policeman were martyred while the four terrorists were killed in retaliation.
