Théoneste Bagosora, the Rwandan “kingpin” and a former armed force colonel was convicted for his part in the Rwandan Genocide has passed on in Mali, where he was in jail.

Théoneste Bagosora, 80, was a senior figure in Rwanda’s service of protection at the hour of the killings. He was responsible for the killings of 800,000 individuals in the 1994 massacre.
