President Arif Alvi appointed three advocates as Additional Judges of Sindh High Court (SHC) under Article 197 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for a period of one year. A notification to this effect was issued on Monday (yesterday).
Mrs. Rashida Asad, Mr. Abdul Mobeen Lakho and Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Sangi were the three shortlisted candidates for the position of Additional Judge of SHC.
According to Baaghi TV reports, the three newly appointed judges are highly qualified and successful lawyers from Sindh. All three of them have made very notable contribution in the legal profession. Moreover, their induction as the judges is highly appreciated among the legal fraternity.
Abdul Mobeen Lakho is an extremely professional and competent advocate and is known for maintaining the decorum of the court. Not only the legal community but even his clients admit that Lakho has made them respect the sanctity of courts at all times.
