TikTok bans political ads

China based entertainment application TikTok will not allow political advertisement on it. Developers said on Thursday that this is against our purpose of making this application.

TikTok is entertaining application that allows its users to make a short video clip and edit it through bunch of filters avialable on it and share it with your followers.This application is very popular in Pakistan, India  and Bangladesh.

“We will not allow paid ads that promote or oppose a candidate, current leader, political party or group, or issue at the federal, state, or local level – including election-related ads, advocacy ads, or issue ads,” Blake Chandlee, vice president of TikTok’s Global Business Solutions said in a blog post.

Created by Beijing Bytedance Technology TikTok have more than 500 million active users across the globe.This is considered as very cheap platform to show your acting and dance skills to world.
