Writ Petition against Lt. Gen Amjad Shoaib has been filed (for sharing hate speech against PM for alleged talks with Israeli delegation in Doha, Qatar) by Advovate Mansoor Riaz at Lahore High Court Rawalpindi.
The hearing has been fixed in the court of Justice Jawad Hassan for 6 Sep 22 (as court bench is not available on 5 Sep 22 due to full court reference).

On 2 Sep 22, Writ Petition was filed against Lt. Gen (R) Amjad Shoaib by Advovate Mansoor Riaz at Lahore High Court Rawalpindi; for sharing dis-information against PM from his youtube channel for alleged talks with Israeli delegation in Doha, Qatar.
Court issued notice to the primary respondent and 14 Sep 22 was set as the date of hearing.

In Sep 2022, FIA cyber crime wing Isb Summoned Lt Gen (R) Amjad Shuaib for sharing fake news in his Vlog on YouTube about PM Shahbaz Sharif’s meeting with an Israeli delegation while visiting a gulf country (Qatar).

Enquiry Notice of FIA to Lt Gen R Amjad Shoaib
On 1 Feb 23, FIA served a notice to Lt Gen R Shoaib Amjad against his derogatory remarks against State Institutions. He appeared in person in FIA Islamabad on 8 Feb 23.
FIA Notice to Gen (R) Amjad Shoaib
FIA Cyber Crime Wing, Islamabad called Gen Amjad Shoaib for inquiring about his unwanted Social Media activities.
He was investigated and grilled by the FIA and later he deleted his WhatsApp.
Cases Progress
There are two cases against Gen Amjad (one in FIA and the other one is in Police).
General Shoaib runs a YouTube channel DDP Analytica – Diplomacy & Politics Analysis. The channel, which was launched in June 2019.
In FIA case, Gen was twice ( Sep 22 & Feb 23) called in FIA for making baseless allegations against the prime minister on his YouTube channel. He alleged that PM Shehbaz met Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett during his visit to Qatar. He asked forgiveness and accepted fault for baseless allegations.
In the Police case, he was arrested on 26 Feb 23 by Islamabad police for inciting public servants againt Govt.
LHC case, Beside this a writ petition dated 7 Sep 22 was also filed against Gen for defaming PM in LHC and case in process.
Update Lt Gen Amjad Shuaib Case in FIA
On 9 Sep 2022, FIA Cyber Crime Wing Isb Summoned Lt Gen (R) Amjad Shuaib for sharing fake news in his Vlog on YouTube.
He claimed that PM Shehbaz Sharif had a meeting with an Israeli delegation during his visit to a gulf country (Qatar).
Consequently, he was summoned by FIA Islamabad, wherein he was asked to provide requisite evidence for sharing such sensitive info.
In his written statement, he confessed that he should have not shared such info without evidence.
He was also accompanied by his son (Noman Shuaib).

In Sep 22, LG Amjad Shoaib was summoned by FIA Isb on his VLOG about PM SS meeting with Israeli delegation visiting Qatar. Gen was respectfully sent to FIA and the issue was amicably resolved on the intervention of establishment. Gen Offr was also accompanied by his son and they accepted that he shouldn’t have shared such baseless allegations in such irresponsible manner.
Master of Conspiracy theories
In Oct 22, he alleged the Maryum Nawaz and Nasir Butt for killing Arshad Sharif.
He alleged Ex COAS Gen Bajwa for selling Kashmir issue and making secret deals with Modi on which IK objected.
He remained a staunch critic of Gen Bajwa and institution policies on SMNs.
He sided with many conspirators on AS Murder and defaming state institutions.
He was respectfully cautioned on all such instances, he promised all the times to refrain and violated his promise all the times with baseless & malicious fakes/conspiracy theories.
On 1 Feb 23, FIA served notice to LG As against his derogatory remarks on state institutions. He was summoned at FIA Islamabad. He intentionally wiped off his whatsapp before appearing at FIA.
On 26 Feb 23, the Gen Offr was arrested by Islamabad Police for inciting public servants against the Govt Retired general gets bail.
Court grants bail
A district and sessions court of Islamabad on Thursday discharged Lieutenant General (retd) Amjad Shoaib from the case registered against him for “inciting the public against national institutions”.
The orders were issued by Additional District and Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra when he announced the verdict on the review plea filed by the former three-star general against hisphysical remand.
The judge had earlier heard the arguments on the plea and reserved his verdict on the petition.
During the hearing, the prosecution had opposed the discharge request made by Shoaib’s lawyers.
‘I have never met Imran Khan’
Speaking after the dismissal of the case, Amjad Shoaib said this was the third fake case filed against him.
“I am here, my life is for Pakistan. I never asked for a position, nor do I have any association with any political party,” said the defence analyst, adding he has never met Imran Khan.
Shoaib added that whatever he says, it is for Pakistan.
“I have seen a lot in my life, fought two wars, witnessed partition, and in the light of one’s experience if you advise someone it should not be considered a crime.”
He further said that when he gives analysis, it is his own analysis and what meaning does anyone conceive from his views, it is the individual’s own choice.
