TLP Long March: Syed Sarwar Shah's complains

Tehreek-e-Labaik (TLP) member, Syed Sarwar Shah complained, the government had threatened us before the march, and have acted upon it.

According to the sources of Baaghi TV, Syed Sarwar Shah, a member of the banned Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP), has released a new video statement in which he said: “10 workers of the party have been martyred, hundreds injured and dozens disabled, yet we are peaceful. We are being shot, the people are out now, who are the people who want to fight the people and the institutions, the pedestrians were walking on the peaceful march from yesterday till now and even as we were told I did not want to take the name now, I can take the name if necessary, I will tell you when the time comes, not the peaceful people this way. They are pushing to a point where we don’t want to go.”

In view of the protest of the religious party, more containers were delivered to Faizabad, the road from Double Road to Faizabad was completely closed, Merid Chowk was closed from all sides. All shops including hotels, general store on Liaquat Road Gawalmandi Chowk have been closed. Everyday laborers are worried. Police have ordered to keep shops closed.

According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Police, the Express Chowk of the Red Zone is a diversion for both sides of the traffic on the entrance and exit routes. They have suggested to use Margalla Road, Ayub Chowk, Nadra Chowk and Dhokri Chowk as urban alternatives. On both sides of the road there is diversion of Faizabad and Stadium Road. Citizens should use Ninth Avenue to enter Islamabad and Peshawar Road to enter Rawalpindi. Metro bus is running from IJP Road towards Pak Secretariat. While suspended in Rawalpindi. Murree Road, Faiz-ul-Islam stop, there are diversions on both sides of the traffic coming and going from Faizabad.

Citizens traveling from Islamabad to Murree Road Rawalpindi should use it on Islamabad Highway. Murree Road is a diversion for traffic before Faizabad and from Rawal Dam Chowk to Faizabad. As a city alternative, use Park Road, Tramri Chowk and Lehtar Road to reach Islamabad Highway. Citizens traveling to Rawalpindi should use Srinagar Highway, Ninth Avenue and IJP Road.

The GT road from Jhelum, Lahore to Rawalpindi has been closed with containers, the gate of the railway bridge has been closed and a police contingent has been deployed. Canisters have been installed as well.

Earlier, after the order of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed left for Lahore on a special plane of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar to hold talks with the leaders of Tehreek-e-Libek Pakistan. He is accompanied by Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. Federal Minister Noorul Haq Qadri is already in Lahore.

The Shura of Tehreek-e-Lubaik has announced that if any audio or video message comes from the leaders of Tehreek-e-Lubaik who are in jails, it should not be believed. That any video or audio message from the currently imprisoned members of the Shura of the banned Tehreek-e-Libek will have no value unless they come on stage and make an announcement from the stage.

According to the report of Baghi TV, the banned Tehreek-e-Labeek is expressing its fear that the government may record the audio or video message of Hafiz Saad Rizvi, the head of the jailed Tehreek-e-Labeek, and make it viral on social media. Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan had a telephone conversation with Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri. Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri reached Lahore from Karachi. Prime Minister Imran Khan also directed Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed to reach Lahore. On the directive of the Prime Minister, the government team will hold talks with the protesters in Lahore today. The government team will include Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Sheikh Rashid and Raja Basharat. Prime Minister Imran Khan has left for Saudi Arabia with instructions to hold talks with the banned Tehreek-e-Labaik and resolve issues. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Energy Minister Hamad Azhar and Special Assistant for Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam are also accompanying the Prime Minister. The Initiatives will attend the Summit Launching Ceremony and present perspectives on the challenges facing developing countries due to climate change. Maran Khan will also hold bilateral talks with the Saudi leadership and attend an investment promotion event.

The eviction will be discussed in parliament and the arrested workers will be released. Police protested against Hafiz Saad Rizvi on April 16. Detained to stop because his talks with the government had failed and the movement to deport the French ambassador refused to back down. After the arrest of Saad Rizvi, there was a commotion all over the country and the government banned TLP. Tehreek-e-Labaik has filed an appeal against the ban on which the government will decide.
