TLP: Sit-in protest at Chowk Yateem Khana

Tehreek-e-Labaik (TLP) arranged a sit-in protest at Yateem Khana Chowk after the rally, demanding the French Ambassador to be deported.

According to sources, the sudden decision in this regard came to light when the banned TLP in Lahore held a rally on the occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, at the end of which the leadership of the movement surprised everyone by announcing a sit-in against the government. It was expected, as people took it to Twitter in the beginning of the procession.

After this decision, the situation in Lahore is very bad and there is a lot of fear among the people at the moment. It is also known that this sit-in could spread across the country very soon.

It should be noted that TLP had protested in Islamabad against the publication of blasphemous sketches of Prophet Muhammad PBUH in France, which was called off after an agreement with the government.

There are reports that security was placed on high alert on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal. Large procession routes were cleared with the help of bomb squads. Strict security arrangements remained.

On the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, Eid Milad-un-Nabi, 339 gatherings, rallies, gatherings were scheduled. More than 6,000 police personnel were deployed for the security of processions, rallies and gatherings. 11 SPs, 34 DSPs and 83 SHOs performed their duties. 419 ASIs and more than 5,000 constables were deployed. Police officials said that all the officers are in constant touch with the organizers regarding the Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations and foolproof security is being provided to all the programs.

Today, the birth anniversary of Mustafa PBUH is being celebrated with devotion and respect all over the country. At the beginning of the day, 21 cannons were saluted in the provincial capital. A special prayer was also offered for the security of the country.
