Lahore, 26th March: Amid the differences between Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani gets nominated for the post of Senate Opposition Leader.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, PPP has filed papers on Friday to nominate Yousaf Raza Gillani for the slot of Senate Leader in the Opposition.
As per reports, the former premier submitted his nomination papers for the post to Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani earlier today.
It is to be remembered that Gillnai had lost an election to Sadiq Sanjrani for the post of Senate Chairman earlier this month.

According to reports, with the support of 30 Opposition senators, the former prime minister filed for nomination today, which came as a surprise to the other opposition party PML-N
It is pertinent to mention here that the Chairman Senate has to nominate a leader of the Opposition if he has the majority of members in the opposition.
