Lahore, 9th September: On 9 September in the year 1960 Pakistan won its first-ever Olympic hockey title in Rome against India. According to reports of Baaghi TV, on the 9th of September in 1960 Pakistan hockey team won its first-ever hockey championship title with a gold medal. 60 years back, on this day Pakistan defeated India by 1–0 in the final hockey match, under the brilliant leadership of Abdul Hamid Hamidi.
