Lahore: Investigation Police has written a letter to IG Punjab to ban the game after the tragic incident of killing 3 siblings including mother by the captive son of PUBG game.
SP Investigation Lahore Imran Kishwar disclosed this while talking to representatives of electronic and print media in his office today.
Other officers including SP Investigation Model Town were also present on the occasion.  SSP Investigation said that a few days ago, a tragic incident took place in the premises of Kahna police station where a captive of PubG (PUBG) game killed 3 siblings including his mother. After which the accused Ali Zain was arrested.  A letter has been written to IG Punjab to ban PUBG game to avoid such incidents again.  The PUBG game has led to a sharp rise in the number of new generation shootings.  Ali Zain, 18, involved in the Kahna incident, was addicted to PUBG games, the SSP said.  The accused brutally killed his mother, sisters and brother with a pistol in the house.    Ali Zain admitted that repeated defeats in the PUBG game increased stress.  During the interrogation, accused Ali Zain revealed that he fired shots thinking that everyone would be resurrected like a game.  SSP Investigation Imran Kishwar said that the arrested accused has confessed his guilt in the statements of 164 ZF before the magistrate.
A pistol used in a serious incident has also been seized. He said that several such incidents have already taken place in Lahore due to PubG game.  Restrictions are necessary to avoid violence due to the use of the PUBG game.  Youngsters playing PUBG games are engaged in such dangerous activities to complete the task.  The SSP Investigation said that parents should keep a close watch on their children’s activities so that such incidents could be prevented in a timely manner.
