Per reports, the Consulate in Dubai confirmed in a document that Umar Farooq Zahoor appeared for the inquiry and presented all the evidence.
However, the document further states that the evidence presented to this inquiry will be provided to the honorable court. It may be recalled that last year, a Pakistani-born UAE businessman participated in the private TV Geo News program Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath, saying that after Shehzad Akbar’s offer over the phone, the watch was taken to Dubai by former First Lady, Bushra Bibi’s close friend, Farah Gogi, where it was then purchased by Umar Farooq.

After this claim, the PTI denied Zahoor’s claim, saying that a watch worth $5 million was never gifted to the prime minister. The party claimed that the watch was not sold to the businessman, nor did he have anything to do with Imran Khan. They added that a five million dollar watch has never been given to a prime minister.
