Baaghi TV: The accountability court summoned former president Asif Ali Zardari on September 9 for indictment in the Tosha Khana reference. The court said Asif Ali Zardari and Yousuf Raza Gilani would be indicted on September 9.
Accountability Court Judge Asghar Ali heard the Toshakhana reference. Asif Ali Zardari appeared in the accountability court with a stick in his hand. The former president wore a face shield, mask and gloves to protect himself from the corona virus.
Strict security arrangements have been made for the appearance of the former president. The 500-meter area around the accountability court was sealed off, and 1,000 Islamabad police personnel were deployed on security duty.
The road to the court was sealed off with barricades and barbed wire. PPP workers were stopped on the Srinagar Highway, where bitter words were exchanged between PPP workers and the police.
Earlier, Former President Asif Ali Zardari has reached the accountability court in Rawalpindi today in the Toshakhana reference case. Strict security arrangements have been made on this occasion.
Barricades have been set up outside the NAB office on the occasion of Asif Zardari’s appearance. Police have stopped party leader Farhatullah Babar, National Assembly members Nawabzada Iftikhar and Fauzia Soomro from going to the NAB office.
