Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief and former prime minister Imran Khan had claimed in a tweet last year in December 2022 that he was accused of a private TV program related to Toshakhana’s precious watch by its host Shahzeb Khanzada and program guest Umar Farooq Zahoor.
PTI chief announced to file a defamation case against Umar Farooq in the UAE.
According to Baaghi TV sources, Imran Khan tried to file a defamation case against Umar Farooq Zahoor in Dubai Barsha Police Station, but that complaint was dismissed after the investigation stage because the basis on which Umar Farooq Zahoor claimed to be a buyer was rejected.
The buyer had all the evidence on what he had claimed, which shows that he is now the owner of the precious watch that Imran Khan bought and sold from ToshaKhana as a prime minister.
Sources have also informed that in order to know the authenticity of the claim made by Umar Farooq Zahoor on private TV, the NAB team launched inquiry into this matter and interviewed Umar Farooq Zahoor at the Pakistani Consulate in Dubai.

After which the team thoroughly investigated the evidences as claimed and presented by Umar Farooq Zahoor and took their copies from him so that they can be presented as evidence in this case.
It should be noted that earlier the NAB team sent a notice to Umar Farooq through a letter on February 3 to be involved in the investigation.
