Traffic accidents cause more deaths than terrorist attacks, Justice Nadeem Akhtar

Sindh High Court expressed anger at the traffic police for not implementing the order despite the ban on heavy traffic in Karachi and said traffic accidents are more deadly than terrorist attacks.

Justice Nadeem Akhtar remarked that the court orders have not been implemented for 15 years.

He further said that restriction hours are not being followed.

The court gave deadline to the public prosecutor to submit the reply and asked to present the mechanism of heavy traffic entry into the city. DIG Traffic accepted the next hearing and Justice Nadeem Akhtar adjourned the hearing till December 8.
