History dates back to the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war when the sixth fleet couldn’t reach Pakistan as the Soviet Union was supporting India and blocked access to the US Navy fleet. Pakistan was broken and that was an irreparable loss. Then comes the first Afghan war in 1977 when the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, it was the era of the first cold war where the battlefield was Afghanistan and Pakistan, countries were divided into two blocs.
