Truth behind sloganeering campaign at Masjid-e-Nabawi (SAW)

LONDON: Imran Khan’s advisor  Sahibzada Jahangir, PTI donor Anil Mussarat and his brother-in-law Rana Abdul Sattar denied all allegations about initiating sloganeering campaign at Masjid-e-Nabawi (SAW), Saudi Arabia. 

The PTI UK leadership left Saudia Arabia a day before the scheduled date. Sahibzada Jahangir, Anil Mussarat and Rana Abdul Sattar were present within the premises of Masjid-e-Nabawi (SAW) at the time of the unfortunate incident.

According to available footage, Sahibzada Jahangir and PTI UK President Rana Abdul Sattar were also among the protesters chanting slogans against the PML-N leadership. In the same footage, Sahibzada Jahangir and Rana Abdul Sattar are also seen chanting slogans of  “thief”.

According to well-placed sources, Sahibzada Jahangir hastened to leave Saudi Arabia after demand of arresting the protesters came in.

It may also be recalled that the unfortunate incident occured on Thursday during iftar when PML-N leadership led by Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif went to pay their respects to Masjid-e-Nabawi (SAW).

In spite of being seen in the available footage, Sahibzada Jahangir denied the accusations of holding and organising the sloganeering demonstration at the sacred place.

“The schedule of Shehbaz Sharif’s visit was not even announced when the Saudi program was made,” Sahibzada Jahangir said.

The delegation accompanying Sahibzada Jahangir included seven people, the other four are still said to be in Saudi arabia.

The returnees included Sahibzada Jahangir, Anil Mussarat and Rana Abdul Sattar.

After his arriving in London, Sahibzada Jahangir issued an explanatory statement denying the ongoing accusations surrounding his role chanting slogans at Masjid-e-Nabawi (SAW).

According to him, he was neither detained nor questioned by Saudi police.
