Turkey Agrees to a Ceasefire in Syria, US Claims

WASHINGTON (17th Oct, 2019): Vice President of United States, Mike Pence has claimed that Turkey agrees to a ceasefire in northern Syria.

According to details, Turkey has agreed to a ceasefire in Syria after the negotiations between Mike Pence and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

In his recent statement, Mike Pence said “For next 120 hours, it will be a ceasefire, while the United States facilitates the withdrawal of the YPG from the affected areas, and once that is completed, Turkey has agreed to a permanent ceasefire in northern Syria.

President Erdogan Threw Trump’s Letter In The Trash

On the other hand, The Turkish foreign minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu has denied such news and stated that the agreement was not a ceasefire.

Reportedly, the letter of American President Donald Trump in which he called Turkish President to make a deal with Syrian Kurds and not to be ‘a tough guy’ or ‘a fool,’ was strongly rejected and thrown into the trash by Turkish President Erdogan.
