Feb 13, 2022: According to a report by Anadolu Agency, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay a two-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from Monday.

The Turkish Communications Directorate said in a statement on Sunday that Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit came at the invitation of Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi. According to the statement, steps to deepen bilateral relations and cooperation between Turkey and the UAE will be discussed during the talks. The two sides will also discuss regional and international developments in establishing and maintaining peace and stability in the region.

The two leaders will attend the signing ceremony of a dozen agreements after one-on-one and meetings with delegations. The agreements will cover various sectors, including investment, defense, transportation, agriculture, health and media. Turkish leaders will also visit Expo 2020 Dubai on Tuesday, where Turkey’s National Day will be celebrated.
