Turkish Airlines has agreed to a new agreement with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) under which the PIA passengers will be able to travel on Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to the United Kingdom (UK) and other European countries.

According to details, a new code sharing agreement has been signed between PIA and Turkish Airlines under which passengers of the national airline will be able to travel from Istanbul to the United Kingdom and Europe.

The new agreement was offered by Turkish Airlines Chief Executive in response to a letter from PIA Chief Executive (CEO) Air Marshal Arshad Malik. According to the letter, the unilateral code sharing agreement between Turkish Airlines and PIA will be signed bilaterally.

The code sharing agreement will be in the context of a ban on PIA flights by the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States over suspected pilot licenses.
