On Saturday, the official Twitter account of the Pakistani government was “blocked” in India.

According to the microblogging site, the action was conducted in response to a legal demand.

At this time, the account is not viewable to Indian site visitors.

According to Twitter’s policies, an account will be suspended if there is a valid legal demand, such as a court order.

This is supposedly the second time the account has been suspended due to this occurrence.

In June, Twitter suspended the accounts of many Pakistani embassies, journalists, and Radio Pakistan’s state station in India.

The restricted accounts included those of the Pakistani Embassy at the United Nations, Turkey, Iran, and Egypt.

In the meantime, Radio Pakistan’s account was disabled for highlighting human rights atrocities in India’s illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIoJK).
