Two PAF pilots martyred after trainer aircraft crash
Mar 22, 2022: Two Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilots have been martyred after a training plane crashed near Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday during a routine training mission.
A spokesman for Rescue 1122 said that as soon as the information was received, ambulance and fire fighting vehicles reached the spot and started the rescue operation.
“No other loss of life or property was reported on the ground. A Board of Inquiry has been ordered by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of the incident,” the PAF said in a brief statement.
According to a statement issued by the PAF, no other loss of life or property was reported on the ground.
In September last year, a PAF training plane crashed near Mardan during a routine training mission. According to a PAF statement, a high-level Board of Inquiry has been ordered to find out the cause of the accident.
On August 6, another PAF plane crashed near Attock district of Punjab during a routine training mission.
