Two Pakistanis included in the list of top influential women

Lahore, 24th November: Leading British broadcaster BBC has released a list of 100 most influential women in the world this year, as it does every year.
Baaghi TV: BBC has released a list of 100 most influential women around the world which includes 2 Pakistani women. The women included in the list have been selected from different fields. Women are divided into 4 main categories such as creativity, identity and leadership.
The purpose of this list is to recognize the services of women in different countries of the world who are striving for social change, protection of women and ideal society.
The BBC releases the list every year. Last year, only one Pakistani woman, Balochistan human rights activist and lawyer Jalila Haider, was included in the list.
This year, the list of the world’s 100 most influential women includes Pakistani actress and UN (UN) Ambassador for Goodwill Mahira Khan and Dr Sania Nishtar, head of the government’s poverty alleviation program in Pakistan.
The list includes four women from India, including an elderly Muslim woman, Balqis Bano, who is known as a protest leader. Also on the list is a musician, an athlete and an environmental activist from India.
This year, as every year, more women have been selected from the US and UK, while 2 women from Bangladesh have also been included in the list.
The list also includes Reena Akhtar, a former sex worker from Bangladesh who provided rations and food to 400 families of prostitutes during the coronavirus pandemic.
Similarly, a teacher from Bangladesh has been included in the list. Two women from Afghanistan and Iran have also been included in the list.
The list also includes Sanaa Marin, the youngest female Prime Minister of the European country Funland.
The list also includes women from the Middle East, Syria, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt and Morocco, but no women from countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.
