Feb 7, 2022: According to the a report by Baaghi TV, terrorists have once carried out an operation in Balochistan.
At least two security forces were injured in a blast near a school at Saryab Mills, Quetta. As per reports, the explosive was placed on a motorbike near the school. The bomb blast shattered the glasses of nearby buildings.
Rescue teams and a bomb disposal squad have reached the site, while the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
A bomb blast has rocked Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan. Security personnel on patrol were injured in the blast on Sariab Road in Quetta. They were rushed to a hospital for medical treatment. A search operation has been launched following the blast.
According to police, the blast took place near Wali Jeth area of Saryab. An attempt was made to target a motorcycle patrol squad. Both the personnel were slightly injured in the blast. SSP Investigation Naveed Alam said three kilograms of explosives were planted in the motorcycle in the blast. An investigation is underway regarding the ownership of the motorcycle.
Earlier, a gas leak in a house near Bukhari Town in Hazar Ganji area of Quetta killed a girl and injured three others including a woman and two children. The injured were rushed to Civil Hospital by Edhi Ambulances. Rescue sources added that all the injured family members have now been shifted to a nearby hospital in Quetta.
On Saturday, at least four miners were killed after a powerful gas explosion occurred inside a coal mine in Quetta’s Saragarhi area.
According to the Chief Inspectorate of Mines, the accumulation of gas led to the explosion and four miners lost their lives on the spot.
Rescue workers rushed to the spot and pulled out the bodies and four others injured, who were taken to the Civil Hospital Quetta. The chief inspector said the blast occurred due to the leakage of gas from a cylinder.
