UAE government adds difficulty for Iqama holders

Tuesday, Aug 25th: The United Arab Emirates has issued 5 conditions for permanent residence. Those who meet the conditions will not be entitled to permanent residence. Their application can be rejected or approved.

According to Al-Emarat Al-Youm, the applications of those who meet the requirements of permanent residence are reviewed by special committees. Documents related to the application are checked. If the application is approved, the candidate has to complete the legal process by approaching the Department of Citizenship and Nationality for permanent residence.

The UAE is issuing 5-year residency to investors – it is extensible – five conditions are set for this residency which are: Candidate must prove that he has unique business experience. The second condition is that the candidate should be a major stakeholder in the proposed project or a member of the project management.

If the application is approved, the candidate will be given a link to upload the required documents and apply for a visa. In case of non-approval, the candidate can wait up to 30 days to submit a new application. After approval, the candidate will complete the application.

The multiple entry visa will be issued for six months. During this time, the candidate investor will review the situation to start his project in the UAE. He will complete the visa application process so that he can change the temporary visa into permanent residence.

If the candidate resides in the UAE, he will be given a one-month temporary visa and will be asked to change the temporary visa to permanent residence. It should be noted that Israel violated its traditions, betrayed the UAE despite being fired. According to reports, the director of Mossad opposed the sale of F-35 fighter jets to the UAE.
