UAE imposes a travel ban on 4 countries including Pakistan

Lahore, 10th May: Amid the ongoing pandemic, United Arab Emirates (UAE) bans travel to four countries including Pakistan.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, passengers from 4 countries including Pakistan have been banned from entering UAE.
Due to the increasing number of coronavirus, passengers from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Pakistan have been banned to enter the United Arab Emirates.
UAE’s National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) made the following announcement on its Twitter account:

NCEMA UAE tweeted, “#NCEMA and Civil Aviation: Suspension of entry for travelers from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka on national and foreign flights, also for transit passengers, with the exception of transit flights traveling to UAE and bound for these countries.”
According to the KhaleejTimes, Emirati officials have said that even travelers with transit visas will not be allowed to come to the UAE after the ban.
The ban will apply to domestic airlines coming from Pakistan as well as all international airlines.
However, travelers to Pakistan from other countries will not be allowed to stay in the UAE on transit visas. This restriction will not apply to them as this restriction has been imposed on travelers coming from Pakistan.
Emirati officials have clarified that cargo flights from Pakistan will be exempted from the ban.
Meanwhile, UAE citizens in Pakistan will be allowed to return to the UAE.
Similarly, diplomatic missions, government delegations, Gold visa holders will also be able to return to the UAE and the business community will be able to reach the UAE on their own private jets.
Except for the ban, all these passengers have to undergo a PCR test before the flight and get a negative report. This test report must not be older than 48 hours at the time of flight, otherwise, a new report must be obtained.
As soon as they land at the UAE airport, a PCR test will be taken on the spot. After which they will have to stay in quarantine for 10 days. At the same time, PCR tests will be taken on the fourth day and then on the eighth day.
