UK Army Chief acknowledges Pakistan’s sacrifices fighting terrorism
General Sir Patrick Nicholas Yardley Monrad Sanders, Chief of General Staff (CGS) UK Army, called on General Syed Asim Munir, COAS at GHQ on Wednesday.
Upon arrival at GHQ, CGS UK Army, laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented the guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.

Earlier, CGS UK had also called on General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee at Joint Staff Headquarters, Rawalpindi.
