UK experts develop fabric that ‘doesn’t need washing’?

London: Experts in the UK have developed a fabric that will not need to be washed and will be cleaned automatically in sunlight.
According to an international website, a research team in the field of chemistry at Cardiff University in the UK has succeeded in inventing a new type of fabric that exposes 99% of bacteria to sunlight.
Sunlight removes stains and odors from clothes, after which you can reuse them in a few minutes.
According to the university’s website, experts have developed a fabric for hygiene purposes that combines sun energy with non-toxic metals to kill bacteria, remove stains and odors.
Researcher Jennifer Edwards explained that the fabric is first washed with water and then left to dry in the sun to begin the process of killing bacteria.
He said that this unique fabric can also be used in reusable sanitary pads.
The research team revealed that the most important thing is the antibacterial activity and it is only under light and ineffective in the dark.
Experts have received funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Experts are stepping up their efforts to improve the performance of this invention and are developing a product within the next 12 months that will be effective in reducing the chances of a fatal infection.
