UK will be accepting predicted grades given by teachers
17th August: Reportedly A-Level and GCSE students in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland will be handed exam grades as predicted by their teachers. Previously only Scotland was said to get grades given to students by the teachers instead of the ones Cambridge gave, but now Wales, England, and Northern Ireland are also being given grades on the basis of what their teachers gave them earlier. Ayesha Omar speaks up for the unfair A-Level grading Both Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Education Secretary Gavin Williamson decided to tell Cambridge to grant grades to the students on the basis of grades given to them by their teachers as predicted grades. This became possible because of the huge outcry of all students and their families after receiving grades that they did not deserve.
