Senior anchorperson, analyst and the host of “Khara Sach”, Mubasher Lucman, addressed the general public about the Kashmir issue.
According the him, many journalists are claiming that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has failed in it’s foreign policy regarding Kashmir. The renowned anchorperson revealed that it is not the failure of the government of Pakistan rather it is the failure of the United Nations. Kashmir has become a major bone of contention from the day of independence.
He further stated that it has been over 70 years since the Kashmiris are being oppressed in homeland but the UN has failed to take a single step to provide security to the Kashmiris. “It is not… I repeat not that much of a failure of Pakistan’s foreign policy: It is the failure of The United Nations. 70 years and the UN did absolutely nothing,” said Mubasher Lucman in his video.
Not only the UN but all the other international NGOs have done absolutely nothing for the people of Kashmir. The entire world, be it Pakistan, India, UN or international NGOs, know that over 120,000 people have lost their lives in Kashmir. Over 18,000 women have been brutally raped and molested, moreover, thousands of children have been mercilessly killed. Children have been shot by pallet guns in their faces, which is according to the Geneva Convention a great crime towards humanity, and the entire world knows it. Almost every media channel, local and international, has reported the Indian brutality in Kashmir but what has the UN done about it? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Every death and atrocity in Kashmir is the collective responsibility of the UN.
“Every time a woman is raped over there, a man is killed or a young child is butchered in Kashmir, their screams have fallen on deaf ears in the United Nations,” said the Khara Sach anchor. Every scream of agony must be heard at the UN and heads must hang in shame for their inaction and inactivity.
He added that the United Nation has failed to impose it’s own policies, it has failed to do anything for the Kashmiris. United Nation should wake from sleep and help Kashmiris they need to send in peace troops to help the innocent people.
In his video message, he further added that the people of Kashmir are starving and dying due to the shortage of food and life saving medicines. UN must wake up and take serious actions against the act of barbarity and atrocity in the Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) by the merciless Indian troops.
“United Nations can still redeem itself by imposing crushing sanctions on India for unilaterally usurping the rights of Kashmiri people; especially as the matter is already with UN for resolution for as long as we all remember,” said Mubasher Lucman.
Every time Pakistan points out such acts of brutality in IoK, one of the Indian parliamentarian gets up and points out at the Pakistan’s side of Kashmir.
In the end, the renowned anchorperson challenged the Indian journalists, anchorpersons and parliamentarians to come to Pakistan and visit our side of the Kashmir. Talk to people, visit it and find out whats wrong. In return let us go to the other side of Kashmir and see the atrocities that are being committed in the name of democracy.
