UP court allows Hindus to perform puja in Gyanvapi mosque

In another proof of collusion between Indian government and its judiciary, the Varanasi Court has granted permission to Hindu devotees to perform puja in the Gyanvapi mosque premises in the BJP-ruled northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The court’s decision is based on the case of Somnath Vyas’ basement, where religious ceremonies were conducted by the Vyas family until 1993 when the state government issued an order to cease such activities.
