Washington, 30th October: Violence on the eve of the presidential election is expected in the United States, with three out of four voters in the United States are reportedly worried about the possibility of violence. Only 1 in 4 say they are “very confident” that if President Donald Trump loses the Democratic challenge to Biden, there will be a peaceful transfer of power. A new poll by Suffolk University on the current election in the United States has found that the peaceful transfer of power to the United States since the 2016 election is becoming a dream. US President Donald Trump has said he will not commit to a peaceful transition of power after the 2020 presidential election. In 2016, 40 per cent of Americans were “very confident” about a peaceful transfer of power and 23% express the same feelings. “Voters on both sides have traditionally feared violence on election day,” David Pelolos, director of the Suffolk Political Research Center, told USA Today.
