Pakistan’s Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has invited US enterprises to invest in the country’s agriculture, IT and energy sectors.
In a meeting with the US Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs in Washington, Finance Minister Aurangzeb acknowledged the significance of the Pak-US economic partnership and its potential toward Pakistan’s socio-economic development.

The Minister also met with the UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, and praised the Gulf state’s consistent support for Pakistan’s external account. On the other hand, during a meeting with a team from FitchRatings, a US credit rating agency, Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb briefed them on the current economic performance of the country.
