US envoy Zalmai Khalilzad meets Army Chief Qamar Bajwa
BaaghiTV: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has met US Representative Zalmai Khalilzad, US General Austin Miller stationed in Afghanistan.
According to a statement issued by ISPR, Zalmai Khalilzad had an important meeting with Pakistan Army Commander General Qamar Javed Bajwa. Commander Resolute Force in Afghanistan General Austin Miller was also present in the meeting. According to ISPR, the ongoing Afghan peace process was also discussed during the meeting. Issues of mutual interest and regional security situation were also discussed during the meeting.
According to ISPR, US Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmai Khalilzad praised Pakistan’s role for peace during the meeting.
