A wooden sculpture of United States (US) first lady, Melania Trump, has been set ablaze near her hometown of Sevnica, Slovenia, on the US Independence Day.

According to the details, a quirky wooden sculpture was torched near Slovenia, prompting its removal.

According to British media, the Berlin-based artist, Brad Downey, had created a statue of the US first lady, Melania Trump, which was burnt on the US Independence Day on July 4, after which it has been removed from its place.

The wooden statue of Melania Trump was painted sky blue and was designed to look like the one she wore to Trump’s swearing-in ceremony. Police officials say an immediate investigation has been launched into the incident.

According to British media, the White House refrained from reacting to the burning of the statue of Melania Trump. The sculptor says he wants to know who burned the statue and why.

He said he hoped the statue would pave the way for talks on the ongoing debate over immigration, including the ongoing political situation in the United States.

Melania Trump spent her childhood in Slovenia when she was part of Yugoslavia and moved to the United States in 1990. Earlier, a wooden statue of US President Trump was built in Slovenia, which was about 26 feet long, but unknown individuals also burned Trump’s effigy in January this year.
