Washington: The United States plans to build military bases in other countries in the region, including India, after the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The head of the US Central Command, General Kenneth McKenzie, has said that there are plans to build military bases and deploy aircraft in Afghanistan’s neighboring countries to combat terrorist acts.

Responsible sources say that the US will try to increase pressure on Pakistan and China by setting up military bases in India. It is also possible that the US is working to set up military bases in Bhutan and Nepal.

According to General Kenneth McKenzie, Central Command and US diplomats are working on the agreement, and the final decision will be made by the United States at the national level.

The head of US Central Command added that the reorganization of al-Qaeda and Islamic State in Afghanistan would be a major concern for Pakistan.
