Washington: Muslim Congressman Ilhan Omar on Friday condemned new US sanctions against Iran, calling US President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo “cruel.” Representative for Ilhan Omar tweeted that the sanctions would tighten the supply of medicine and food to the Iranian people.
